I'm not very good a this blogging thing. But that's ok because it's just for me anyway. An online diary of sorts. A place where only someone who wants to find it can. And since I don't share with anyone that I have it, there is no lose.
Summer has been busy. More than I thought it would be but at least I am keeping focused and getting things accomplished. Slowly going through things for a garage sale makes me really think over what is important. All the stuff that I hold value to really shouldn't matter but it does. Like Pop's overalls that someday I will do something with, and dishes in boxes that I haven't used because someday..., clothes that I will wear again, and the list goes on.
I have become more mindful of thanking God for the small stuff. Saying thank you when I found pretty napkins in a tub for a rehearsal dinner, thanks for that blessing when Girlie says I am her favorite because without me she wouldn't be, time with family which has become more precious. As the Boy decides the Air Force is his life for now and I am angry. But life goes on and I'll figure it.

Snow days

4 snow days. Unheard of in our fair state. We broke a total snowfall record for the month with 20.6 inches. The precious record was 20.5 from 1913. And in some ways what a waste of time.
All the time to plan and do and watch movies and read and yet....barely anything. I bang my head yet again. I ecome overwhlemed with what to do that I sit frozen doing mindless activities. When will I get it?
